This man who is also from São Paulo is the Co-founder of one of the world’s wealthiest companies, as well as one of the most powerful social media platforms. You’ve probably already guessed it: Facebook! Saverin came to all out fame when the “Social Network” movie came out. He met Mark Zuckerberg at Harvard, and together these two started developing Facebook. Saverin’s roles in the company were CFO and business manager. After Facebook became popular, Facebook filed a lawsuit against Saverin, to which Saverin counter-sued. The details of the out-of-court settlement have never been disclosed but Saverin received the title of Co-founder and an undisclosed sum of money… which we think has been enough to keep him mum regarding Facebook over the past couple of years!

She lives in the US, but is very true to her Brazilian nature, posting in both Portuguese and English on her social media networks, and showing off her Brazilian pride wherever she goes!

Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, known as Ronaldo, and in Brazil, as Ronaldo Fenômeno, is a retired Brazilian football player, who is considered to be one of the greatest football players in the world, by experts, as well as his fans. Ronaldo was born in 1976, and started his career at the age of 16 playing for Cruzeiro. During his career, he played for numerous teams; PSV, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, A.C. Milan as well as Corinthians. He once received the award for the FIFA World Player of the Year, and in addition to that, he won the Ballon d’Or twice. He is known to be one of the best strikers of all time, and is included in the FIFA 100 list of the greatest living players, as well as in the Brazilian Football Museum Hall of Fame. During his career, Ronaldo scored 62 goals and played 98 matches, which makes him the second best goal scorer of his national team. In 2006, he also set a World Cup record by scoring his 15th World Cup goal. Throughout his career, Ronaldo had various injuries, and the reason for his premature retirement was citing pain and hypothyroidism. Ronaldo is also dedicated in helping the world against poverty, and runs many charity efforts.
